Kingdom of Jerusalem
So im doing The Knights into Kingdom of Jerusalem and just formed the nation. It's the first time ive done this and im on the fence on wich governenment to form, should i stay a monastic order or become a kingdom? As i see it there are some pros and cons that you have one dynasty with the possibility of royal marriages etc but lose many good order reforms. What do you who have done this before prefer?

I'd go Crusader State for the holy war CB personally. Tier 1 reform? That means monastic order if I recall correctly. It fits thematically here, but do whichever feels best to you.

I did a Kingdom reform just to check the new reforms before i alt tabbed and im pretty sure i still could do Crusader State gov. reform 1, maybe better to go kingdom in that case?

Another thing im considering is keeping the Knights national ideas to keep the ability to raid coasts of heretics

Up to you, but I happen to be a fan of theocracies and anyway monarchies are more common, so if it was me I'd go order. But then I tend to role play more than min max. And it just fits my vision of what a Knights to Jerusalem run should be.
