EU4 Very Slow Game At The Start
Hello i got some issues with eu4 my game is extremely slow at the start and i dont really know why. I tried to unistall itt or remove some mod or adding the performence mod but its still slow and a couple months ago my game was running very smoothly and now its extremely slow so i dont really know what to do in this situation. I even tried to verify my files and its still slow its maybe a update that dit that but if you know what is causing that please let me know because its starting to be extremely annoying. Thx

Hit the F12 key while in game. Then click on your name on the right side of the Steam main menu, click on content, and select screenshots. You can upload screenshots from that page (and give them captions).

mate follow these steps:
1 download HWinfo
2 launch it and scroll until you find your cpu (usually one of the firsts)
3 Donwload argus monitor
4 Check the fan speed. We want to see the cpu fan in particular
5 launch the game, wait 5 minutes and make a screenshot for us

So, i see a spike at 95 degree. If that happened when you launched your game then the issue is the cooling of your cpu. When you hit these temps the cpu will limit power usage and clock speed to keep temperatures under control.

To be sure, just plot also the clock speed and power absorbtion of the CPU. If you see a sharp decrease after hitting these 95 then your cooler may be fried (or you may have an issue with the thermal past even though i think it is unlikely if it happens immediately after launching the game)

So i dont really don't understand by what you mean by "plot" but yeah when i didn't launched my game, my CPU Degree was at 57 and when i launched the game, it was at 80-95 degrees, and when i closed the game it was back at 57 degrees. So it means that my Cooler is fried? And Sorry if i am bothering you, its just that this is very annoying and i dont know what to do but Thank You.

probably yes. Do you have the stock cooler for your cpu or did you buy a different one? something else you can check is the cpu cooler fan speed. it may have happened that one of the window update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the default configuration of your fan speed curve. it` s rare but i have seen it happen

Well i have a stock cooler and maybe its the window update because when i did the window update i waited for it to download but i did not played eu4 this day and when i played it the next day it bugged.

that is why you should check the cpu fan speed from the SW you downloaded. To see of it is working. In any case i would try to repaste the cooler with some new thermal paste just to be sure and to see if there is any improvment

You should be below 40C when not doing anything on your computer, 57C is not right for idle temp.

The game is also kinda slow usually when loading a game so maybe just play few months and see if it gets better. The game speed is also defaulted at 1 which is really slow.

Well thats what i did i checked the CPU fan speed from the SW and its the same temperature as my CPU so i dont now what is causing that
