Cant move capital to Constantinople as Mamluks

I removed the Otto kebab and i'm the new kebab in town but i cant move my capital to Constantinople due to "we cannot move our capital to overseas" thing. It's stupid.

I mean i took the whole land that otto had, balkans anatolia and other things i'm just gonna cross a little bopshorus but no its overseas.

Is there anyone can help me with this thing? Any ideas?

The reason why you can't move it there is because it's on a different continent. The only way you could move it there is if you were to get rid of all of your land except for your capital and then move it to Constantinople.

I know that but how could ottomans can do it? And Constantinople is not that overseas. For example if you play as russia and move your capital to asia it wouldn't be a problem, would it? Such a small amount of water shouldn't be considered overseas.

The Ottomans start out with their capital in Edirne, which is in Europe.

And you wouldn't be able to move your capital to Asia as Russia.

From the wiki: The capital cannot be moved to another continent unless it is the last province in its current continent and has no neighboring provinces.

The ottomans can do it because the province is not overseas. Overseas is not just water, overseas is the word used to describe the mechanic that prohibits you from moving your capital to another continent. In this situation you are trying to move from Africa to Europe. You can fix this with a land bridge

I have a land bridge through anatolia but i guess i should go through crimea?

Sadly you can't move your capital to another continent anymore, unless it's the last province you own on a continent. :(

Oh really? Even if they have a land bridge?

Yep just tried it in my Tunis game, can't move my capital to modern day Saudi Arabia, which counts as Asia, even though I have a direct land bridge.
