Transfer province to colonial nation
Hi,

I'm a new player here and I couldn't find the information I was looking for. Hope you guys can help.

First off, I only have the base game with no DLCs except for the Women in History one (or whatever it's called).

I've formed Spain from Castille. I've colonised along the coast of South America where modern Chile is. Then my colonial nation formed. I then declared war on Inca who had provinces behind my CN, won and got a few provinces that are adjacent to my CN.

The original intent of the war was to get the Gold provinces then feed it to my CN who'll then pay me instead so I don't get the inflation and the overseas penalty. However, once I got the province I can't transfer it to my CN en masse. The only way seems to be "Sell Province" one at a time at 10 prestige each.

I even cored one of the provinces but nothing happened (I was expecting it to be automatically absorbed like the new colonies I started next to my CNs).

Is there anything I can do to feed the provinces to my CN?

Many thanks.

Maybe you have formed Spanish La Plata, but the territories you conquered from the Inca are in the "Perù" colonial region, so they won't be adsorbed by your colony, but you need to core 5 territories to form the Spanish Perù, another colonial nation...

Okay thanks I think you may be right as the provinces in question does seem to be around the split off between the two regions but I'll need to check later.

For my future reference though once I conquered a province in the same colonial region as my CN should I expect it to be absorbed automatically WITHOUT coring? Or do they have to be cored first?

They adsorb territories automatically after you conquer them... No need of coring, the colonial nation will core, change religion and culture: maximum profilt with the minimum effort ;)
Just help the colonial nation with rebels: if you give them lots of regions at once they will be heavy overextended.

I just tested this and you're right. They were in the Peru / La Plata regions, and once I cored them all they automatically turned into a new CN.

Thanks for your help :)
