How do you conquer mexico quickly?

Playing spain, you get all the cores.
You conquer the provinces, give them to your colonial nation and then revolts break out everywhere. What am I doing wrong?

Taking too much, too quickly. the unrest from the low religious unity will cause tons of revolts.

there a trick
when u got 5th core in colonial region - colonial nation will be created. they will get all your provinces in colonial region. BUT. if province under coring - CN get full core on it(and u get back ur admin points).
so what u need:
declare multiple wars on whole mexico region.
annex as much as possible to 100% OE. start coring 5 provinces. 2 months before cores finish - annex everything in mexico and start coring.

I was trying to avoid repetitive gameplay, I set my armies to auto-suppress rebel mode and they sat there making the elicopter with their wee willies instead of fighting
