What I am trying to say is do not let it get to a postion where you are having to consider unconditional surrender. Rather get out early. Rebuild and take revenge.
Comes with the patch on the 5th of April, along with Mare Nostrum
Is there a full list of new features?
The patch notes aren't released yet, but you can find dev streams on youtube and dev diaries in the news section as well :3
If i see a war going bad i don't want to wait until the AI has everything that they want, that can take years and the AI doesn't get call for peace which sucks even more for the player.
Of course the ideal situation is never be in such a bad war but sometimes things are beyond your control.
Just because you can click Suggest Offer, doesn't mean the AI will accept it.
There's been a few times where I was losing the war either way, but I wanted to peace out i order to keep my troops & ducats intact, but the AI was unwilling to accept *any* peace offer I gave them until they were at 100% and completely broke my momentum.
90% of the time I'll exit to menu, but if I have a large enough empire, sometimes the expansive momentum I have going is more than I'll lose by a quick peace and 15 years to recover my losses.
*IF* I haven't spent the last 20 years being beaten down and need to replace every last one of my troops & manpower to do so.
