How long do AI coalition last?
Ok long story short: I'm playing Prussia and in a huge war I took over all of north Germany. Now, normally I would just wait until AE drops but here is the problem: My AE is 380 lmao. It is already the year 1630 and I don't feel like waiting for 150 years for my AE to drop.

Do AI coalition dissolve automatically after some time even if the AE is still high? I know they won't attack because they are too afraid of me. But I don't feel like attacking them either because it's going to be a pain. There are more countries involved than actual world war 1 I can't be bothered to micromanage that much.

So yeah...I was hoping they dissolve automatically after maybe 10 years if nobody declares? Is this true? My only other option is to wait until 380 AE drops but this is gonna take while lol.

I have never seen a country which maintains its outraged attitude with over +50 opinion. Do you have a save which shows this?

It depends on how long you are talking about. A few months isn't all that unusual in my experience but generally not much more than that. It certainly isn't always an immediate change.
You are right, it isn't immediate. I think a month is usually enough to change the attitude and then a few more months and/or a reload makes them leave the coalition.
I am currently stuck in a 20+ year coalition against 400k soldiers from 1497-1520
opinion, your power etc affects the coalition. In this game coalitions are manageable, that's why diplomats are really handy.

"Not true. They'll leave when they no longer have outraged attitude towards you. That can happen as soon as they get to +50 opinion, no need to wait for AE to hit 0." With latest patch version, AI will not drop out of coalition until AE is ridiculously low. When you get super powerfull, yes they will leave. Otherwise you are just going through a century of game play doing nothing. Just waiting for the coalition zzz zzz zzz zz zz
A sign that it's time to learn how to juggle truces and spread AE so that coalitions can never form in the first place...

Very insightful, do nothing loop before causing AE. Absolutely no difference. When you get big more powerfull, you will end up PRE-waiting for AE of after waiting for AE. Both cases lead to utter boredom,
Anyway due to new introduced bugs (total magic overpowered UK, unbeatable on land or sea, reintroduction of endless chases of single units and the all seeing eye of the AI and only Turkish culture are not totally bugged by stability drop BS, gave up on EU for now and possibly forever).

Try reading and attempting to understand what's written before replying to it next time, please. If you refuse to learn, you'll never become a better player, and will continue to stumble over trivial obstacles like the ones you're complaining about here.
Bluebird has complained in many prior threads but never listened. It's better if they quit and not return, as they've threatened to do.

Hello little fan boy. Your favorite game is still broken.
Try to bring something constructive, o wait return to above line, fanboys cannot do that.

My favorite game has bugs and bad design choices that I have criticized many times in multiple places. But the good vastly outweighs the bad and it is indeed my favorite.

Don't believe me? Search my posts here and on the official forums and you'll find plenty of examples of constructive criticism.
