Best Christian Denomination For My Brandenburg-Prussia?
I should have went Teutons as you can either stay catholic or convert to Orthodox and then go Prussia.

See I am at a cross roads for idea three. I could go protestant and colonise as I have alot of diplo and France and England only just took the ideas. I don't really plan on blobbing into Russia, I am number one power due to that BS event that gives you the free PU on Austria basically. Granted they didn't get the PU on Hungary and Bohemia despite the fact both were friendly with Austria since game start, but I did manage to get the PU on Burgundy.

But when I form Prussia I will be over governing capacity as I have all of Poland and Bohemia but I am low enough on admin as it is since I took innovative ideas so I don't know if I should take admin or not, taking trade doesn't seem worth it since Krakow gives you 2 free merchants and global trade power and Visby gives you abunch of domestic trade power.

See BB for some reason gets the free claim on Macau for whatever reason. Instead of a mission to take land in the Ivory Coast trade node which would be much more historical. The issue is I have limited access to English channel trade node unless I starve Burgundy of trade income. I got the PU before becoming emperor which is why they are still seperate.

Don't you have to be Protestant/Reformed to form Prussia? Not a whole lot of choices for religion. Teutonic has to convert to protestant, Hussite or reformed also I believe. Not orthodox unless something changed.

Ah ok then. So many countries to play with all the changes!!!

I always liked Protestant. But honestly never play Hussite or Reformed.

One of the other oddities of the game is that Reformed is in reality just another branch of Protestant, basically reformed is calvinist, these days the three main branches of protestantism are Presbyterianism, Lutheranism, and Reformed Baptist with the main differences being how they are governed internally and some disagreements concerning communion.

why do you want to convert anyway

Catholicism is pretty OP especially if you are converting a lot of land for juicy papal influence. I played as rhodes recently and was just raking in papal influce. I basically had free stability the whole game

Go Protestant early to become Prussia, then convert back to Catholicism for the mechanical superiority. You lose nothing especially game-breaking by doing so. Prussian militarization is not the be-all and end-all of the nation.

Which religion promotes chocolate the most, that´s all that matters
