Can someone explain eyalets?
Do they count as a vassal? So if i get influence ideas, the bonuses are going to apply them?
Do i still get the same tax and manpower whether they are core eyalet or not?
If i want to use them as a vassal to help at wars, is there any point to make them core?

The vassals count as borders for coring purposes (i.e. if you have a connection from your capital through the eyalet to a province, you can core it now). But to fabricate claims, you still need a regular border. However if you mark a province or provinces as "province of interest", you vassals will start to fabricate claims on them if they can.

That's not the case. I released a vassal in India to help me core the land, made it an eyalet in order to save a slot, and I'm not able to core inland beyond it at all. Maybe I'm not understanding the rules about coring on different "continents", but it seems to have not been fixed in 1.35.3.

When it comes to regular subject types, the "vassals' land counting as your borders for the purposes of coring" thing only applies to vassals who are on the same continent as your capital. As the Ottomans, your capital (unless you move it) is considered to be in the continent of Europe, so you wouldn't be able to take provinces bordering your vassals for yourself in India, which is obviously in Asia.

I'm unsure whether Eyalets are intended to be an exception to this rule or not. If they are, then Paradox probably messed something up in their implementation. Personally, I suspect that Eyalets were only intended to give the same coring benefits as normal vassals, and that Paradox just worded their patchnotes poorly (wouldn't be a surprise, I'm not sure they actually proofread them with all the times I've seen the same change/fix mentioned in 2 or 3 different places of the same set of patchnotes). But that's just my unprofessional opinion on the matter.
