Colonies promoting settlement growth?
Is there anyway to tell a colonial subject which province to promote growth in?

I am so close, and yet so far... from the One Faith achievement. I got a WC by 1780 and I have 18 new world provinces left to convert and I can't send missionaries to them because they are promoting settlement growth right now.

Order them to not use settlement growth at all. Go to the "Subject Interaction" screen and "Block Settlement Growth."

I looked for that option but couldn't find it. I now realize that I inherited a bunch of free enterprises when I conquered Spain and Portugal so now I have changed their governments and can block, thank you sir!

Right, each type of colonial nation has different interactions and provides different benefits. I'm glad my post pointed you in the right direciton.
