However, that would also mean you cannot split armies, add to them, disband them etc etc, as each one would be classed as a single "unit" for the purposes of your control, in the same way as a mercenary company (though you can at least disband them).
The downsides would be that you now have to pay for them as your own, which might cause a MASSIVE spike in your expenses, not least because you're probably going over your force limit.
That assumes, of course, that you are able to tweak the condottieri system to allow more than one army in the first place. Probably possible, with the editing of a few flags and code markers...but not easy.
I suggest heading over to the Workshop section of the forums and asking there, the experts are mainly assembled on that side of things.
