My ally Sweden is supporting the indepence of my Vassal
I used to be a rival of sweden, they started supporting the indepence of my subject verden (i'm playing as goslar). Then the rivalry between me and sweden ended and i allied them to get rid of the support indepence. yet they never stopped supporting their indepence.

In the end i decided to no cb stettin, which was allied to sweden, which it said would defend them with +60. Yet they didnt help them.

Only other ally is the commonwealth, which i cant take on.

Any Ideas what to do?

Also, this is probably a bug and its super **** annoying. I managed to always get everybody else to stop supporting them, but somehow sweden said "na, im gonna ♥♥♥♥ my allies over, doesnt matter how much i like them"

I as well encountered a bug where ai doesnt loose moral from drilling their units (and yes, they where drilling over a month tick before i declared war), which lead to this whole situation at first

As always in EU IV, the correct answer is "get bigger" as that will drop the LD below 50% (you can also use the other available tools to reduce liberty desire) and the subject will break the agreement once their attitude flips away from rebellious.

Break the alliance. That will give a truce and having a truce should break the support for independence. I've only tried it through truces made due to war, not alliance breaking, but I assume it would still work.

If they like you enough they'll be willing to immediately re-ally too. Just make sure your opinion/trust is high enough that they'll still like you after the hit for breaking the alliance.

This doesnt work. I had both disloyal subjects below 50 LD for ~ 2 years, still allied and supported.

Let them support, they will never join a independence war on the side of your vassal.

You vassal is attacker, so sweden gets a "call into war" on your side as defender.

This didnt work either. Sweden now has a truce with me, but they still support my vassals indepence

I dont want them to be supported, can't integrate them and its 2 of my 4 vassals that are disloyal.

What jerks! I guess the only option is to find some way to be at war with Sweden then. Any chance you could ally the Commonwealth to break their alliance with Sweden (either through favours, or the sneaky call Commonwealth into a war vs somebody else so they can't help Sweden when you attack method) and attack Sweden directly. That'll break it.

Y this is kinda bugged, i dont think they will ever stop supporting unless you attack them.

Ideally you just ignore it... If its only Sweden it shouldnt harm that much.
