negative events are way too many lately..
I came back to this game after half year break and seems that negative events are more present then used to or am I wrong?

I started a random game as France and from 1451 to 1466 I got 6 -1 stab events, 36k noble rebels and 2 events of -1 corruption with no option of alternative. beside that whenever I get a 10 prestige event, next month i usually get a negative random event regarding goods or tax. is it dev really broke the game or what?

Keep in mind that good luck can come in batches too. It's just less noticeable due to being less problematic. Randomness is lumpy.

I had one game that I abandoned due to bad luck making bare survival untenable. But I've also had one where luck handed me a nearly complete conquest of the new world though inheriting Spain which had Portugal as a vassal.

If I'm not wrong, each bad event fires off only once.
After you're through with it, it's done and won't bother you further.
So in essence, it's better to get the bad events out of the way when you're smaller than when you're bigger and having all out war with blobs and bad events fire off.
That is false.
This afternoon I suffered the comet event twice in three months. And with the next ruler the "hunting accident” twice too, which has been super annoying because I ended disinheriting the successor to be bad heirs. At least my ruler was young enough to have 5 kids with his younger spouse XD

As far as I'm aware, it's only a select handful of the GOOD events - primarily the ones tied to hiring specific advisors, such as Radical Reforms and the ones that give you something related to the advisor's role plus 1 stab or 50 Prestige - that can only fire once per campaign. That is, of course, excluding scripted nation-specific events, which may be good, bad, or both depending on the nation.
