Why allies don’t call me to their wars?
I am playing as Lithuania and my allies Poland and Bohemia both went to war (separate wars) without calling me to war, and they got crushed. Why? Is something changed recently? I haven’t played this game much for last couple of months.

By the way, I wasn’t at any war when this happened.

just like in the childhood - friends go to the party and dont invite you

If you didn't play since the cossacks update, now you need favors with someone to call them in your offensive wars. That might be why they didn't invite you.

ALso, AI probably thought the wars wouldn't interest you

AI dont need favors.

Are you sure about that? I thought I've read somewhere that the AI also accumulate favors with the player and expect him to join in offensive wars when they have enough.

It was not my offensive war. Poland went to war against Teutonic order and Bohemia inside HRE, and none of them called me to war. I feel something is changed in the game here, but I don’t know what that is.

I also noticed some other changes, since last time that I played. Like claims are getting expensive, and it is not as easy to fabricate them like before. Also, I noticed changes in war declaration window. I went to war with wrong causes belli two or three times yesterday (I went to war with humiliation instead of conquest). That was infuriating!!

I think paradox should stop changing ♥♥♥♥ for the sake of changing them, for crying out loud.

Not sure anymore if the favors system comes into play for the AI but clearly your allies are less likely to call you in their offensive wars than they were in earlier versions of the game.

The rest, longer time for fabricating and the humiliation CB, are some of the usual complaints about the latest updates. Unfortunately you have to deal with these things if you want to play in 1.17 but if you really hate the changes and didn't buy the last two DLC yet, maybe you should go back to an earlier version.

i don't remember exactly. I may have had one or two loans max. anyway, this could have been the reason. regardless, by not inviting me to thier wars, both Poland and Bohemia got rekt, and consequesntly i lost two effective allies.

i have all the dlcs. well, i guess i just have to accept all these sudden ♥♥♥♥♥♥ changes from paradox every now and then. sigh.....

there is an option somewhere to check "call in for offensive wars" to have the ai know you would join in offensive wars. also make sure you have provinces of interest in the nation who your ally is attackings territory sometimes seems to help
