How do I check my combat width?

If you open your technology panel, on the rightside of the military tech area should be a collection of stats related to your current tech level. One of those will be your combat width (the picture is 2 crossed sabres with arrows pointing either way underneath it if I remember correctly).

It's base 15 plus whatever you get from technology. Terrain can reduce it by up to 50% during battles.
