Colonial Alaska?

so heres my question, has anyone ever played as colonial alaska, broke free and then started conquering the Americas? im interested because ive never seen alaska formed as a colony so have any of you ever seen anyone play as colonial alaska?

Alaska is by far the poorest colonial nation (nothing above 2 basetax, home node is a starting node) and tends to be the last place in the Americas to be colonized, so by the time you manage to colonize there and release them they're already likely to be pretty boxed in. If they managed to grab some of California they might survive until the end, but invading their neighbours will be hard because those neighbours will likely have strong colonial benefactors with multiple colonies in the Americas.

Allright ima make ita goal of mine to get an alaska playthrough going either MP or single player. all you need is one strong buddy and your golden its how i always crush Burgundy as aachen sometimes i don't even have to ally people and they fall apart themselves anyway i just kinda wanna see what color independent alaska is

i must say though the manpower would be the only thing to really do damage to me durring the playthrough i suppose i could go as norway colonize after breaking free of the union and then land hop to alaska i should be able to keep colonizing making alaska fatter while canada is getting less land then ill release canada as a free nation and then release and become alaska. That is basically the only way i see of gettiong to alaska quick enough to do any sort of conquest.

In my current game, I've colonized Alaska, and two of the provinces are producing gold, so it's actually quite wealthy for it's size. If you happen to luck out on resources it could make things a good bit easier.

In terms of how soon you get to Alaska I don't think that is the fastest way. It would require you to colonize quite a few provinces to get from the Atlantic to the Pacific while if you just jumped to Central America and then using that province that also borders the Pacifc went up should require like half the number of provinces.

Also since that way there is no other CN you can sell Alaska provinces so they are in better position when you change.
