Hungary Broken?!
I jsut wanted to test the new Patch and decided on Hungary to go for it, but when it came to the selection of the heir after the first year, one text option said that i'll get my general and won't come under the dynasty of habsburg like it should, but when i hovered over it it just said, that i'll get the same f*cking dude but with worse stats. I took it anyways, because I hoped the hover text was just wrong, other than the heir it was right.
So now I have this Habsburg guy, but with weak stats, anyone else tried this out and can confirm common bug?

its not bug
the heir is young, and hunyadi is the regent while he grows up. thats why the weak stat. However since hunyadi is not a king u cant declare war for example.
u will have a chance to have the hunyadi dynasty later on as well, until then hungary will remain under habsburg

the habsburg heir will die very soon after he became king if you have that regent. then you´ll get an event to become either the lesser partner in a pu with austria or to make your current regent´s son your next heir.
that is the only way avoid falling in a pu with austria as senior partner

Can you take Hunyadi as king straight away or is it a bad idea?

no you can´t take him as a king... even if you take him as a regent you can´t declare any wars... after the habsburg king dies you can choose his son as heir but then you are in the next regency and with low legitimation

Thanks. I guess that his son is Matthias Corvinus?

no i don´t know his name but it should be a heir of the same dynasty as your regent was and i don´t think your regent was a corvinus so maybe you got another event?

Matyas Hunyadi and Matthias Corvinus are the same person: the first is the Hungarian name I think... "Corvinus" is a nickname related to the dynasty coat of arms.

are you sure? i play the german version and i thought i saw them both in the same game but maybe they translated the name in some events differently and that gave this impression. nevermind the german translation is total crap so it is most likely that

Yeah, probably it's an error in the German translation. From Wikipedia: "Matthias Corvinus, also called Matthias I (Hungarian: Hunyadi Mátyás)"...

yep that´s him... wish they´d make a better translation because atm it is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... or at least they should call him by the same name all the time(the discription from crusader kings is almost perfect compared to eu4(for example: you cannot declare war while there are no levvies raised(in truth it is the opposit. you cannot declare war while levvies are raised))

so not calling him by the same name(language of the name changes) is a very simple mistake compared to some other bs you can read in the german translation but i still hope the developers discover google translator because it can´t get any worse atm

Well, I'm Italian, so I play with the original English, I've not translation problems ;)
