Conquest Casus Belli
Hi, I don't see how to select several target provinces when using the conquest CB. It always selects only one province as the war goal. I tries to press CTRL but won't work. Help please :-)

You don't.

The CB is conquest, and this determines the costs for acquiring provinces.

The War Goal is the province you select, and the owner of that province gains a ticking war score during the war. There is no difference in cost for acquiring the War Goal province.

OIh so one province at the time ? I need to re-declare war each time ?
I'm playing Muscovy and my mission is to conquer Novgorod and they have 10+ provinces, does it mean I should declare war 10 times in a row ? Doesn't make much sense to me .. I must be missing something.

You are.

Just take as many provinces as you want in the peace-deal, as long as it stays under 100% over-extension and/or 100% warscore. Just be wary of how much aggressive expansion it'll cause.

The province you pick just determines the war-goal for with regard to ticking warscore. But the actual Conquest CB itself applies to every province you have claims on (and you don't even technically need claims aside for one to use the CB, but if you have claims then those provinces will cost 10% less admin to core and start with slightly lower autonomy then not having claims on them).

AH OK thanks. Yes, this time it makes sense. :-)

Just to add that demanding provinces you don't have a claim on also costs diplomatic monarch points during the peace deal, so always try to have claims early on. Later you'll get other casus belli options so you won't have to spend diplo points to demand unclaimed provinces.

But the conquer Novgorod mission should give you claims on all their provinces for 25 years from the time you accepted the mission.

But when I have the choice, which CB should I take ? 'hummiliate' or 'conquest' ? I can't decide which better serves my cause (which is to conquer Novgorod and ultimately try to Build a 'East Slavic Culture' Empire.

Humiliate doesn't allow for province taking, so always conquest out of the two.

Different casus belli allow for different things so you should read more up on what each do. :)

Humiliate CB allows for Vassalizing.

Note that if you're planning on taking a solid chunk of land, you should make the wargoal the most valuable province, because that can also be demanded at a reduced warscore cost. But as others have mentioned, all provinces on which you have claims can be demanded (up to the usual 100 warscore max, of course) in a Conquest war, and it will not cost any extra diplo points for unjustified demands.
