EU4 vs Extreme edition vs collection
Seeing that EU4 is on a big sale I wonder which of one from the store page is most worth of my money. As a new player and from what I can tell it's down to either the regular or the extreme edition since seeing collection is mostly cosmetic. But I dunno what to take about the DLCs in the extreme edition.

Or should I just pic the standard edition and only pick the dlc that is worth getting, which begs the question and which are those?

This mainly I heard it's good to have common sense and art of war dlc and what not. So I'm a bit confused. So a little help is appreciated

If you want the preferd "base" experience base game + Art of war.

Each DLC add's a little something:

Conquest of Paradise: fleshes out the native american tribes, can generate random new world and you have the Ability to play as one's Colonial nation.

Art of war fleshes out war and make the game fun.

Res Republica fleshes out republics.

Wealth of nations fleshes out hindus an trade.

El Dorado: custom nation builder and fleshes out the centeral americas and exploring.

Common Sense: fleshes out diplomacy.

Cossacks: fleshes out hordes and adds estates.

Mare Nostrum: fleshes out navel stuff and piracy.

Rights of man: not out yet but is looking like it'll be a new Art of war "a must have DLC" Great

i'll list it's stuff from the Eu4wiki.

Powers: The most developed nations have access to new diplomatic options to bully or entice weaker neighbors

Personalities and traits for monarchs and military leaders will add bonuses to your nation or assist you in battle

Queens can be generated by royal marriages, and serve as regents if an underage heir ascends to the throne

Subject nations can be given more detailed military instructions on how to behave at war
Fetishist nations can choose from a number of cults, uncovering new options as they wage war and make alliances

Coptic nations will be tasked with preserving their faith through the control of holy sites throughout the near east

Ottoman Empire gets a unique new government form with new Harem Politics events

Plus; new faction system for Revolutionary Republics, the ability to abdicate, building in subject states, debasing currency for quick cash and more.

This pretty much sums it up. Art of war and then common sense.

I'd go ahead and pick up Wealth of Nations too. Other than that and the those other 2, you should be good.
