Look your missions, i believe its the first one. Its "called control electors" or smth

One of the first missions in Austria's tree, "Secure Electors". Completing it requires you to be the Emperor of the HRE (which you already are at the start of the game), and have at least five of the HRE Electors voting for you and having at least +100 opinion of you. Basically, just ally as many of the Electors as possible immediately (apart from Bohemia, obviously), get Royal Marriages with the ones that aren't theocracies, and Improve Relations with any of them who still need higher opinion until the mission is fulfilled.

Or royal marry Bohemia and then claim their throne if you get a member of your dynasty when the interregnum ends. While this approach doesn't always work, it's quicker than completing the mission and you can form more useful alliances

...thats not true, marquoz. The mission is WAY faster, surprised you dont know that - are you thinking on the old mission? Its been ages now since it got changed

The austrian mission allows you to get the cb 1-3 months into the game without using gifts, depending on rival RNG of the electors. Just ally 5 electors, marriage with monarchies and either use "religious diplomats" from estates or use insults to increase relations.

And since that mission is almost instantly finished your alliance slots arent even used up.

Maybe, but then you'll have to take a -2 hit to stability for declaring on someone you have a royal marriage with, no?

Edit: I'm doing an Austria run currently and got the Restore PU CB on Bohemia via the "Secure the Electors" mission in a little over 2 years, not even doing it optimally, so it doesn't take long at all and I imagine more experienced players can get it even quicker.
