* I would love some better optimization esp. for late game, but other than that i'm really fine with EU4 (esp. with all the mods available).
* Better graphics - does anyone even use the natural terrain mapmode or zoom in to see unit details (more than once)?
* More content - traditionally a new base game means less content at first until DLC/expansions flesh it out.
I really see no incentive to make an EU V. Which just translates into that I wouldn't buy it unless it would be - content-wise - at the same level as IV is. Which would take some decades. And up until then I most certainly already would be dead.
Otherwise, maybe more peace time activites like delving deeper into government mechanics and what mana really is
CK3 didn't start with 90% of the content that CK2 had; why would you expect EU5 to be any different?
Can't speak for Medicles, but I wouldn't, which is why I'm not super interested in a putative EU5.
