Why Cant I grant province to my vassal?

I am playing England and releasing Normandy to not bother about my continental holdings. I want to grant Calais to Normandy, but doesnt appear on the menu when I go to the subjects tab and open the list of interactions...anyone know? thanks..

you can only grant bordering counties. does calais border normandy?

You can grant provinces across a sea zone and Normandy and Calais share the Straits of Dover.

Edit: So, no idea why you can't. Can you post screenshots of the area and the subject interactions?

Did quick test and Calais is listed and can be granted to Normandy. Make sure it is not occupied or something like that.

You are probably missing Common Sense DLC.

If you can't grant province in the subject interactions you can just use the sell province diplomatic ability...
