Do you keep mission modifiers when you tag switch?

Playing Morocco in MP, and wondering if I should form Andalusia, but if I lose the 5disc that Morocco gets in their final mission, I probably won't.

if the nation you switch to has a different set of national ideas or missions then you will be presented with a choice to continue along the old ones or accept the new ones
