anyone know how to fix blurry unit text?

my eu4 map looks fine but the ui is really smudged together and unreadable any solution to this?

Did you change the gui scale? It is best to leave it at 1.0. If you have at least a 4k resolution, you can also try a gui scale of 2.0, I have heard that it doesn't look as bad as the other values(but if you use 2.0 with lower resolutions some parts of the gui will be cut off).

If the text looks too bad for you on a gui scale of 1.0, try a font mod. There are several mods which use fonts which are looking better or bigger or easier to read(but usually not all at once).

yea I tried to do 1.2 because im 1440p but 1.0 is playable I will try 2.0 though might work better

2.0 will cut off many windows on 1440p, because it uses the seize which the window would have on 1080p and doubles it. For example the declare war window will be missing the bottom part with the button to declare war.
With 1440p I would suggest to try a few font mods to see if there is one which makes everything a little bit better to read. Or you can try the following mod, but it is complicated to install:
