Trade league question

Just a question as it's my first time playing a Merchant republic, if you kick a member from your own trade league do you get a truce with them as if you were to break an alliance? I am asking this as I want to conquer a nation that is in my trade league.

fire up a nation in singleplayer without ironman and test it

dont know the answer to the question not played a trade league in some time.

but you could declare an his ally and take his land without kicking him form the league as he would join defensivly it might cost a few extra diplo points and AE but it does save some time in waiting on truces and letting him join a rival trade league

I have never played a trade league but did you check the WIki? The wiki usually has the answers in there. Just google EU IV Wiki and you can find the info you are looking for. I think trade leagues are under trade or it may have its own category

I would assume that there is a truce like breaking an alliance but who am I to say.

had the same issue so i tested it and no there is no truce made. shame the wiki doesn't include info about it though.
