This. That said, you also kind of need to be smart about building heavies and not overdo it. Lights, galleys, and transports are all pretty much dirt cheap to maintain but heavies are an entirely different ball game.
Heh, I did that one as a side thing when I did Poland into space, built up a massive monthly income by owning most everything east of Lubeck plus the rest of the Baltic node and just blew past the force limit with a shrug. Built them and immediately mothballed because wtf did I need ships for anyway?
