Custom nation exploits fixed?

Title. Wanna mess around with >800 points nations but the old method I used doesn't seem to work. Was it patched? Cheers

I never managed to use that exploit but the Grant Province exploit (give you free cores or remove cores from enemies) has been fixed.

You need to roll back to 1.30.6 to use it

It doesn't work in ironman but you can edit the defines.lua file with notepad++ and change the points to any number you want, something like 1000-1500 should be more than enough. Sure you can use a mod but the only ones I've found are full of ridiculous 1000000+ points where you can get things like +100% army morale at which point you might as well play with winwars permantly turned on.

The 800 limit is really way too low. Especially since it still applies when you make custom nations for the AI.

im pretty sure ive used it recently but i dont know what patch - hasnt been listed as a bug fix tho
