Natives too strong
Currently playing as GB and I am having a harder time colonising the east coast of America than previous games.

The patch next month will address this issue. They are currently settling too fast and are far more powerful than in the past. The AI can't deal with it at all, but a player who can gets a much stronger colonial nation than they should.

Again, this problem should be resolved soon.

1.31 is broken in quite a few ways without even considering the balance issues with the Leviathan DLC abilities. Better to stick to 1.30 for now IMO.

I have to agree, you take one out and you get a coalition, I am trying to complete GB's tree and I just had to let my colonies die after I completed the missions.

Can the new Native tags be removed pls :(
They removed Buryatia so removing some Natives shouldn’t be a problem

There's a mod for that. It's something like "no nations in America" and, I don't know the exact name, but it'll be something like no natives in Australia/Pacific/whatever (so search in the workshop for America and Natives).

Alternatively, you can go to the game, right click and press show local files and then go into Europa Universalis IV\history\provinces. From there you should see a list of every province in the game, just remove the owner/core/controller on each province and that should remove the nation (I'd suggest removing a nation from just one province first and checking that works before committing to the rest). I believe there's a list of province numbers somewhere online to make looking for it easier.

I played a colonizing game as Scotland a bit ago with Leviathan just to see what all the complaining was about and I didn't see much of anything. The natives were still several tech levels behind and were pretty easily crushed even when they coalitioned up. I haven't even seen the AI struggling really. Spain, Portugal and Great Britain still gobble up everything eventually if left to their own devices. I don't know what you guys are talking about much less how your having "any" problems at all dealing with the Natives on your own.
