Just colonise the Eastern America colonial region and form a colonial nation.
In your subject interactions release the nation and choose to play as them,
I really wish people would try out their suggestions before posting them
So if you can move your capital to America and you can colonize 10 provinces in Eastern America before 1600s then I don't see why not.
In my multiplayer save files, i play as the GBR and already owm pretty much all of colonial eastern america to florida, however when i release the colonial nation 'thirteen colonies' it transform into Florida not USA.
Do i need to move my capital from London to One of the colonial eastern amrica province?
How many cities does the 'thirteen colonies' actually have? It needs to have at least 10 fully colonized provinces before you can enact the decision.
If you want to form the USA yourself, you would have to do that. But if you already formed Great Britain, you won't be able to form the USA anymore, because Great Britain is an end-game-tag(end-game-tags can be disables in the options[eu4.paradoxwikis.com]). And if you already have a colonial nation in Eastern America you would have to grant them independence and conquer (some of) their provinces again, because otherwise you won't own a fully colonized province in Eastern America to which you can move your capital. To move your capital to a colonial region your previous capital must be the only stated province on its continent and it must not border any of your other provinces. The easiest way to achieve that is usually to move it to an island on a third continent first(e.g. Cape Verde, Sao Tome, St. Helena or Falklands), but the island must be the only province which you own in its state. But you can also give up the provinces around your capital to another country, because you will lose them anyway when you form the USA
