After forming a nation downgrade my goverment rank its a bug ? !sloved!

I play as mulhouse after I elected as emperor my rank change to empire but later I form swabia and I lost my empire rank now I am a duchy.I keep electing but my rank is still same

Yes, this is a bug.

I dont know how but today I load the game and suddenly my rank change to empire problem sloved dont know what cause my dev still under 1k lol

Did you try reloading the game before? Maybe reloading gets rid of the bug.

yes ı did ı actually play 3 days straight but nothing changed until today really wierd.I try to use ironmelt and change my gov rank but that cause acvhivment disable and ctd so I gave up and play my original save again and it fixed itself

You became emperor so your rank changed to empire (normal),
then you formed swabia, and became a duchy?
Did you lose the emperorship in the process? Did you change your gov-type?

no I didnt lose hre emperorship and my gov type not changed

For anybody with the same problem who stumbles upon this thread in the future:

Triggered by a similar problem on the paradox forum[forum.paradoxplaza.com], I played around a little just now and I think I found a way to get the empire rank back. Just enact a government reform. It doesn't seem to matter if you enact a new reform or if you change an existing tier.
