Just some general tips if you're dead set on using the DLC:
- Everyone gets generic ideas and missions so expect a game where no one nation is special.
- Heresies have never played well in the conversion. Chances are, if your nation is heretical, then playing as them will crash the game. Other nations can be heresies, so I'd just suggest converting your own nation with caution.
- Don't play from the earliest start date in CK2, this just might be my experience but Christianity has always failed. So the age of reformation will basically trigger way too late in the game for the other ages.
- if you play with Sunset Invasion then the new world will be weird. This is a feature, but I just think it's a poorly implemented one.
