Change Trade Good of a Province via Console Commands
Is there a way to change the Trade Good of a province via console commands? I can´t finish the missions of my country because my capital has the wrong Trade Good so I was wondering if there is a way to change it.

You could use a run.txt or use one of the events which are listed in the console commands page on the wiki[eu4.paradoxwikis.com].
But which mission requires a specific trade good? Are you using a mission mod? Maybe there is another way to fulfill that mission.

I already had a look at all the console commands in the wiki but none of them really help since the Trade Good I need is part of the total conversion Mod that I am using, I was hoping there is an Event that just removes the current trade Good so I could re-roll it until I get the one I need but no luck there. I also looked for a command that decolonizes the province so I can just recolonize it until I get the right Trade Good but I didn´t find a command for that either. Guess I am just stuck unless there is a special Event that spawns the Trade Good I need.

I think the event which abolishes slavery sets the trade good to unknown so that it rerolls. Did you ask the developers of the mod? Maybe there is a way for you to get that trade good. It seems to be a bad mission design if you have a mission which requires a trade good which you can't normally get.
Or you could use a run.txt with the effect "change_trade_goods = X" (replace X with the internal name of the trade good). The wiki has some explanations about run.txt: https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Run_files

I tried the abolishion event but the province needs the Slaves Trade Good and I don´t think you can get it via console commands or at least I haven´t found the command if there is one. And I will ask the developer hopefully there is a way to get the Trade Good also going to have a look at solving the problem with run.txt thanks for the advice.

If you need slaves in the capital, you could use the event institution_events.24 if it still exists in your mod, but it also gives some other country and province modifiers.

I just tried it but the event is sadly not in the mod. I will just have a look at the run.txt stuff and hopefully figure out a solution that way.

Well I just found a way to complete the mission I just need to move my capital to a province that produces the trade good I need. Thanks for all the help man.
