Automatic armies
Is there a mod out there for automatic armies, similar to the army policy thing for vassals? In the late game it becomes extremely boring on micromanaging your armies on a global scale.

Yes, Leviathan as a button to carpet siege enemy provinces. You select one big army, click the button, then the AI sends out 2k stacks to siege the provinces.

I haven't used it though. I just use vassals, and their armies conquer territory for me late game xD My armies just get the forts.

Unfortunately that button doesn't live up to its name. It doesn't actually do the carpet part of carpet sieging. The stack just moves around and sieges provinces, but it doesn't split up. And you have to manually select the areas to siege which is relatively cumbersome.

Yep, when I saw that button, I was like "yay!". But it turns out to be pretty useless and a very good way to take some serious heavy attrition if relied on. Also when I use it, I use it in hopes that the unit that is in "carpet sieging" mode will aim for non-fort provinces so I can siege down the forts with another force, but it seems when I send a force to siege a fort that is within the "carpet siege" range (mind you, the force in this mode is several provinces away), the unit in the siege mode will ignore all provinces and stack up on the unit I controlled specifically to go siege a fort.

Aggravating... Near useless honestly. I would say only use it if you have a ton of manpower if sieging something like Russia or be ready to split up tons of forces beforehand and picking regions you want sieged down, thereby making the button useless.
