Where is the Anglican event?
Playing as Great Britain, it's currently 1528, and no sign of the Anglican event. The Protestant Reformation began in 1501, meaning that I should have gotten the event by 1526. No other country could have already gotten the event, as Scotland has been my subject for decades, and I used them to form GB. I'm not defender of the faith, as my ruler is a female. All the conditions for the event are met so why am I not getting it!? Is it just taking a lot longer than normal, or is there a chance it just won't fire? Also, if I were to use the command prompt to fire the event, would something wrong happen because the event didn't fire naturally, or does it not matter how it was triggered?

The event has a mean time to happen of 120 months, or ten years, and the clock starts ticking 15 years after the Reformation. That means in your game, the clock started in 1516, and on average the event will fire in 1526. You are just two years past that, which is hardly uncommon. You need to be patient. A two year difference with a ten year mean time is trivial. If you don't get it by 1550 or so, then you can start getting worried.

Anglicans are the devil. Episcopalians rule!

The event can only happen 15 years after the reformation started, so it could only happen from 1516 onwards in your game. And then it has an MTTH of 10 years. So there was only a 50% chance that the event happens by 1526. It will happen eventually if all conditions are fulfilled. You can us the console command "testevent anglican_events.14" to see if all of them are fulfilled.
