Unable to make it work at 144hz borderless

The game keeps resetting my 144hz to 60hz unless i put the settings on borderless but recently that makes the game unable to start past the menu logo.
Anyone has the same issue?
How else can I get 144hz running?

Do I understand you correctly that the game works in normal fullscreen(but uses 60hz) and it crashes when you start it in borderless fullscreen?
Maybe your config files have a setting that breaks borderless fullscreen. You can try to rename your "Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis IV" folder so that all settings get reset. Does the game start then if the only change you make is to select borderless fullscreen in the launcher?

No that didnt help.
I can only play the game at full screen option but then I cannot use the 144hz.
I had already deleted the whole game including all folders related to EU 4 but and enables the optimizing for full screen disabled but still nothing!

When did you notice the problem for the first time and when was the last time that borderless fullscreen worked for you? Something must have changed that caused the problem and maybe it is possible to undo that.

It stopped working recently but strangely when I roll it back to a previous version now it still don't work.

If your "recently" doesn't coincide with a game update, it is probably not the game version that is causing the problem. Are you using any mods? If you do try to disable all of them and see if that helps.
You can also look into the update history of your OS and your graphics driver. Maybe there was an update that caused your problem.

Same. For me i can play borderless fullscreen with 144hz but normal fullscreen only 60hz.
Im fine with borderless fullscreen but its nice when paradox fix it.

Yes I also disabled all mods but still same problem. I got so many updates on my OS, I don't think I can remove them.

Unfortunately I have no more ideas on how to help you. You can ask the official tech support in the tech support forum[forum.paradoxplaza.com] or on the paradox support website. They will ask you to upload log files and dxdiag output which makes it easier to debug more complicated problems.

I found the solution! I turned Instant Replay off from Nividia.
