"How to beat Sirhind as Delhi every time"
If wanting to play as "Delhi", I personally rather just use Sirhind and fight Delhi.
You get a much better ruler and a great starting general(use him sparingly if you can and dont have him as a commander AT ALL during peace time)
Not only do you already start with more starting troops but you also get 6 additional free starting troops when the event triggers for you to wage war which usually happens pretty quickly and in most cases will trigger before Delhi gets an ally, and those troops will bring you right to your force limit saving you 60 ducats to use for other things.
You get Less AE at the start for wiping out Delhi then you would as Delhi wiping out Sirhind allowing you to gain more land from other nearby forces sooner rather then later.
Then as soon as you do wipe them out, you can easily reform and become Delhi youself instantly
You also inherit their other vassal if you dont take their land as well,
So in the end you still end up as Delhi but your a much better Delhi with more starting money since you didnt need to recruit any troops, which also nets you more leftover manpower in the end, have less AE with other forces after that first war allowing for faster early conquest, and a Better ruler who has 3 great starting traits.
Yes but this post was about how to beat Sirhind as Delhi rather than which one is better to play as. The reason I posted it was people were talking about the Emperor of Hindustan achievement:
"Emperor of Hindustan
Starting as Delhi, Restore their Empire's borders."
And were saying that they couldn't beat Sirhind, as you need to *start* as Delhi. So I decided to post my way of beat Sirhind that had worked for me every time so far
i have beaten them easylie, too.lowered their independence will, conquered kashmir-they concqered it for me...had sindh and bengal as allys.after kashmir war the event popped.he against us...multan jumped in and took a province-the rest for delhi
Yeah, managed to get all the provinces on my run though
I have done it everysingle time I tried to play Delhi and it is a simple 1 step. ally Chagatai and you are golden.
I have done this 5 times so far, worked every time
Or Bengal (get royal marriage day 1 and then alliance 1 month later)
Plus Bengal can help you anytime you wish without needing favors against Jaunpur by offering them land
