How can I get policies?

With this new update I suddenly don't know how to get new policies. Playing Ajam trying for Persia, but I don't see where I get these new "points" to spend on policies. I haven't bought the latest DC yet - did they eliminate policies with the latest update, or am I just missng somehting obvious? Thanks!

with dlc you get one of each monarch point free. not sure about stock

Yep.

Normally the policies should be where they always were: On the "Decisions and Policies" tab.

Is the tab not showing for you?

The tab is showing, but all I have are a bunch of zeros for the number of policies I'm allowed to have. I also don't have any government reform tracker or anything of the sort. I *can* select decisions, but the policy area seems non-functional. Is there a button I'm missing?

I did not! Does that mean the policies feature has been put behind a new paywall?

reform is part of the new dlc, don't know if policies are now completely behind the dlc; could be.

Its part of the free update

You have to click on one of the fields, then you get the list.

Yeah, wild, I don't get that at all. Mine looks the same except all the green numbers are zeros and there aren't any boxes to click.

just tried again, got the same as the picture. could be another dlc causing it or maybe a mod on your end?

maybe play a bit and see if once you get 2 idea groups done its any different.

Yeah I'm going to try again with another new game. I don't play with mods, but maybe it's just a savegame bug. Worse case scenario I re-install, but I'm glad that this is an error and not a feature.
