How to deal with overextension (over 100%)
I screwed up.
I was fighting two wars and came to terms of peace in the easier one.
But I didn't notice that overextension exceed 100%.

The war that still going will last a couple of years.
(So I can’t the new provinces to my vassals.)

I have no more local autonomy to give.
Worse! The ongoing war aims to conquer 3 provinces.

How can I reduce potential revolts?

I think the most common solution when you screwed up is alt + F4 or whatever works for your system. Or try to finish your wars and give land away.

In your current war, get yourself in a position where you can act more defensively, if possible. Reduce your attrition as much as possible. Then core the provinces you took in your last war whilst the war is ongoing.

It can be risky, depending on your allies - sometimes following a big war, your allies don't appreciate it and just repeatedly get you involved in other conflicts.

If possible, immediately release a vassal or create a Client State and feed it the extra OE. Each vassal can take another 100% OE.

If your really really REALLY good, you can reduce core time enough to core before rebels will spawn =) (At least you used to be able to do this)

you can raise autonomy but only do it after you have a core on the land you annexed never befor, or you can lower it and smash the rebels.

This is my last resort. If I just can't deal with the rebels and stuffing the land in a vassal won't work well, i'll do this. Unless its just crap land 1/1/1.

End your second war asap, make them annull treaties and attack once the 7 year or so truce ends.

It depends on how much over 100% (more than 150% is where it gets rly scary)
and how long it will last.

If you dont peace out asap and give land away there is little that can be done.
