Voting for Emperor

How do I change my vote for HRE Emperor as an Elector?

Playing as Prussia and Bohemia is the elector. They're also my rival and they suck donkey dong, yet I'm apparently voting for them as Elector.

The tool-tip says I can select who to vote for, but is this just poorly worded and it actually just means I'm an elector? Can I manually choose who to vote for? Rival AI Electors would never vote for me, so I don't even know why I'm automatically voting for Bohemia.

There should be a "Cast Vote" button right at the top of the electors list.

also, you can only vote for yourself if someone else is

I didn't know that, either. I voted for a different country since the AI seemed to make a mess of it and I didn't want to bother. The HRE promptly died entirely during the religious war and apparently there was no new Emperor available.

Which means we won a war to decide the official religion of the HRE a few years after the HRE was disbanded..
