Question about reconquest CB

Hi !
I'm having some questions, since i'm playing a vassal-based game, i'm wondering if, for example if France don't exist anymore, but still have the cores on every former french provinces he owned, then i take the said provinces from whoever is possessing it to release France as a vassal and then wage another war against whoever having French legitimate province with the reconquest CB, do i still get the 25% AE if i take something that isn't about retaking a french province ?

Like, do i get normal AE if i take let's say Spain province near France or do i get the 25% AE from the reconquest CB ?

the CB tells you exactly what is discounted.

Anything not covered is the same as having no CB.

Reconquest ONLY applies to re-taking core territories or returning cores, though it will apply to everyone who qualifies as long as it's part of the main peace deal, so if you declare for a france core but they also have one of your cores, you both get the CB discount and don't pay diplo for it since the CB covers returning cores. (Seperate peace is always considered No-CB).
