Stern des Südens, what am I doing wrong?
I have all the pieces I need, but I can't seem to complete the puzzle. Got Bremen as my vassal, I made the jump around Africa and conquered/cored Werder and the coastal provinces. Now I'm trying to feed the territories to Bremen, but I didn't get any further than Angola. He cored that but now the 'Grant province' won't allow me to give the next parts of the jump to him. Why is the game not allowing me to?

There's no OE. He has cored Angola and I can grant him all my other Kongo provinces.

You can only grant provinces which border the same sea tile as a province that Bremen already has. The best way to jump further would be to declare war on a country that has a province that is within coring range of Bremen and transfer the occupation of that province to Bremen in the war. Then you can give the province to Bremen in a peace deal.

Jesus christ, that's awful. The only other country nearby is allied with the Ottomans...

Do they have other allies? Maybe you can declare war on them. Or you could use the return province button to recreate a country from one of the coastal provinces that you own near Werder. Then you can declare war on that country.
Edit: It should not be a province that borders the ottomans. Otherwise they might guarantee them. Maybe you can even make that country christian by converting all their core provinces to avoid them allying the Ottomans

I could take the Ottomans but I just don't really want to bother, you know.
