How the hell do you stay Emperor as Austria?

Look at that, lol. I'm allied and have royal marriages with 4 of the Electors as well. I have no idea how I am supposed to remain Emperor like this. Although I don't actually care, I ♥♥♥♥ing despise the HRE and being Emperor isn't the point of the playthrough.

I've never actually played Austria before because of the aforementioned hatred of the HRE, and now I am just curious. I know you need to stack diplo rep and♥♥♥♥♥♥to consistently stay Emperor, but how do you do so in the early game? Looks a tad impossible to me.

you have -1000 because you A) have no heir or B) have a female heir

when you get a proper heir, you can bestow imperial grace on electors as well to give a huge bonus to them voting for you and it only costs one imperial authority (lasts until death of monarch)
