Both will then get events to tug-of-war you. The one you choose will give you support, while the one you snubbed will send small-ish rebel stacks at you.
Best way to avoid this is by having the Iberian Wedding fire or by destroying/vassalizing Portugal.
Or the AI controlled one (Aragon in your case) has a regency.
Considering how Aragon starts with an ancient ruler and Castile starts with "What are you gonna do, drown me?" Enrique, the latter has a high chance of happening for either side.
