Using cheat engine in ironman

ugh.. to stop the bloody trolls losing their temper over someone using cheats that -dont- harm anyone else.. -yes- you can if you know what your doing, should you really?.. no.. I mean, come on, its bad form to use cheats in ironman, that mode is there for people to test their skills against tough AI, in none-ironman theres built in console commands so you can have unfair fun.

You think your getting away with it but actually you get added to a blacklist then at a certain point they will submit the list of infractions to valve for vac bans.

If your wondering why they dont ban right away its because by decoupling the ban from the point of use it makes it difficult for cheaters to know if their cheats are detectable or not. They just get banned out of the blue.

why would they ban you for a single player game with no purchasable in game currency? its not like ducats can be purchased through real life money. i got this game legit and i have alot of bought dlc's.

Stop speaking out of your a** , that is not how VAC bans work... VAC bans only exist in games which steam page says "Valve Anti-Cheat Enabled" and 99.9% of those games are multiplayer games. This does not include EU4.

As far you not doing it on multiplayer game. I see no problem with it. I would not do it, wouldnt feel same to get those hard to get achievements.

Its impossible in multiplayer, it would most likely cause desync issues, however I once played a multiplayer game were the host just gave his country a bunch of bonuses in a single player game and loaded the save

Ironman is made for player to have a much more challenging gameplay and there are already exploit that you can do in game if you want an even bigger advantage when in ironman.
