Purple Pheonix DLC Missing
Thanks to a very gracious redditor, I was able to get a key to a Digital Extreme Upgrade pack. When I went to claim the key, however, Steam said that I already owned it. I checked my EUIV DLC and, lo and behold, it was there with the content packs. Apparently, when I got the game two Christmas' ago as a gift, it had been the Extreme edition. I never realized because my Purple Phoenix DLC never worked. I have started up Byzantium games on two different computers, only to see that the unique missions are not there either time. In addition, unlike everything else in the Extreme Upgrade pack, Purple Phoenix is not in my DLC list for the game. It shows up as both in my library and available to buy on its store page too. Is there any known way to fix this?

If you right click on eu4 in the steam library and select "properties" and then open the "dlc" tab, is purple phoenix listed there? And if it is listed, is it marked as installed?

It is not there.

I don't have it listed as installed either, but the content is definitely popping up in my games. Might be something about DEU pack and PP DLC treated as different items, despite the latter being included in the former.

So, it is now physically impossible for me to get purple phoenix on Steam because I got the Digital Extreme edition through Paradox?

Maybe the key that you got also didn't include purple phoenix. Maybe you can buy the digital extreme edition upgrade pack on steam to get purple phoenix.

I own it and I am playing a Byzantium campaign right now. Purple Pheonix is just not shown as a seperate DLC, but if you have Digital Extreme, then you have the DLC

Great. I have to buy something that I own because Steam won´t accept the key, but still marks it as purchasable.
