Level 1 fort meta

Ok so I was doing a multiplayer game with a couple of friends and it got fairly late into it. Poland was a monster. Pu on France, austria, and hungary. I as the mongol empire wanted to smack some sense into them, but after around 10 ish years the war hadn't progressed at all. I would siege down their capital, leave, and because all of their forts were level 1 or 2 it would instantly be unsieged by poland. The ♥♥♥♥ can I do in this situation? I have over 500 hours in this game and i've never been hit this hard before, because I was in the war for so long sieging constantly it caused a little bit of starvation thus causing all of the other great powers to try to kill me, I defended against all of them just fine but still the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to do against level 1 forts? Like come on

um i think you mean level 2 forts? you can't build level 1 forts

and blitz them they are level 2 forts and your the MONGOLS you should be able to smash thru fort after fort after fort if they are level 2 (also what year is it?)

A level 1 fort is only in capital and it does not automatically retake unprotected land adjacent like a level 2 fort and above. A capital or any province with a fort also can't be automatically retaken by another fort. I'm guessing you just simply isn't familiar with late game warfare because like most other casual players, you conceitedly think there is nothing else to learn after becoming the local top dog and never bother to continue past the middle game in your 500 hour playtime.

You should have enough Artillery units in late game to siege down level 1 Forts within couple days. True siege in late game starts with level 8 forts with defensive ideas and extra fort defense modifiers.

Again your missing the point here guys, I’m saying their capital fort is level one as well as most other forts are low level, so as soon as I take one their army is able to retake another one very fast. There’s no need to be toxic guys damn

stay in poland and FIGHT if you don't have the numbers to why did you start the war in the first place?

also if the MP is still running screenshots would be helpful

What was your cb?

If conquest cb, war goal must be pretty far from Warsaw?

If you were using a cb that gives ticking war score from winning battles, no need to focus on forts until you smash their army.

Using advanced cb?

Eeeeer if they have lvl 2 forts they are dead

Focus on anyone but the warleader, get them to 51% warscore and peace them out with demanding 25%. If they refuse they get a stab hit, at -3 stab they are forced to accept.

If they are stupid enough to have lvl 2 forts they are done within a few months

i think you missed something
austria, hungary and. france are all PUed by poland so yeah

Then just take all of Poland and let the rebels smash some sense into him.

Either that or as others said use the horde cb - that one would give 65 warscore without taking a single province.

nope haven't played a horde ever didn't know that CB was super op (and by never played i mean more then like 30 years)
