About rebels enforcing demands, and achievements

What's exactly the difference between "My true friend" and "Viva la reloucion"? Shouldn't I get both as soon as I win a war helping a rebel faction? The first is about doing just that, the second is about having rebels in another country enforce their demands. So should that be unrelated to another nation stepping in, or is it something you can combine?

You support rebels for both achievements.

For "My True Friend" you then you CB to help rebels, win the war and enforce rebel demands in the peace deal.

For "Viva La Revolución" the rebels need to enforce their demand without you being in war against target country.

So, for the second one, I just need to be lucky? Other than killing off all of the other nation's army hence making them unable to counter the rebels, there's nothing I can do? Just wait and hope?

Also why would you need a DLC to obtain "My true friend"? In the achievements list is not even mentioned you'd need a DLC for that and it shows in my achievement interface even if I don't activate the free trial version for Art of War

The wiki openly shows that Art of War is required for that achievement.

Yeah it's on me, the one with no listed required DLC is "Viva la revolucion". Still, the question stands. And hold on, aren't you the one believing I'm some kind of post war industrial espionage spy for believing one shouldn't pay for a few extra buttons?

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but it would be really cheesy if this were some sneaky underhanded way to restart the sordid DLC clusterfack

The CB to help rebels requires AoW. You can not use any CB, need to be specific "Support Rebels" CB.

Yeah I know, sorry. The one listed as requiring no DLC was actually Viva la Revolucion, but the icon for Art of War is just not there. Maybe it should be added, since I can't get it without that?

Just attack the country and have 60 spynetwork. Make sure to raid and pillage them until they got no manpower and army. Then rebels will be able to easily take their capital.
