Thing is TO lost the war in the very early game, and in early 1450 Danzig (and Konigsberg) was Annexed by denmark. This scripted event (Prussian confederation) occurs not earlier than in 1450. It my game it will NOT occur, because Danzig does not belong to the TO.
Even if I am wrong I will have to take Konigsberg from Denmark.
Besides the event occurs as long as the Merchant classes own provinces.
I imagine your scenario is fairly rare, as I have yet to see the Poland Danzig event not fire in ANY of the games I've played since implementation.
Honestly you could probably just guarantee TO to prevent any attacks. I cant see how that would mess up the scripted Danzig event.

it sas that"The Prussian Confederation Revolts" reuiqres that Danzig belongs to the TO.
In my current game as Lithuania northern parts of Livonian Order were taken by Denmark, Danzig event fired properly, Poland got Danzig. I am fairly sure this will happen most times.
