0 republican tradition as pirate republic
is it worth to ignore republican tradition? i mean the only downside i can see is the stability cost. In return i will get OP ruler everytime. Not including the benefits of frequent elections and merchant republic reform

...thats why i have the mil tab right next to it...

20 pips admiral = 4 monarch point ruler. WTF?!?!?
RNG I guess, but still better than the spam of bad events and stab hit you will have with low rep tradition

I've been getting a series of Stability-boosting events from playing a 0 RT Pirate Republic. They only cost stability if you try to get Republican Tradition.

I have no idea why you're getting prestige. Do you have all the dlc?

Can't say what the problem is with any certainty, but try it out in single player and see what happens.

The Republican Traditions debated event[eu4.paradoxwikis.com] which has the "We need a King!" option only gives prestige. But the Expand the Bodyguard event[eu4.paradoxwikis.com] gives stability in exchange for republican tradition

Makes sense, then.

What is the meaning of three year pulse and its modifiers? And do I get the expanded bodyguard event more often if my treasury is lower than 0,5 years worth of income or the other way around??

There is a wiki section about pulse events[eu4.paradoxwikis.com]. From this description it seems that the bodyguard event is twice as likely if you have less than 0.5 years of income in your treasury.
