Dharma is worth it right now?
Is the Dharma Expansion worth buying right now, as it is on sale? Does it have any gamebreaking or bad unbalancing or something like that?

It is worth more if you like to play in India region. If not, it still adds government upgrades, trade centers and charter companies.

I see! Thanks for the info!

No, 50% off isn't enough. Gotta let Paradox know we ain't buying their overpriced garbage. Wait for a 75% off sale at the least.

I think it's just 33% off so I guess I'll wait

Same. I'll wait for winter sale. If not here, Green Man Gaming will probably have a better deal.

Wait for the summer sale and it will be near 50%

Tho i still don't have it, Dharma DLC is worth at 33%. Its one of the better DLCs out there imo.
All the complains and negatives are comings from free update (religion/coruption and anti blobbing stuff)

That's too far.

Ah, that's good to know. Thanks for the info.

Whilst already said, if you like to play in India region then maybe.

For me it was not worth the time as the changes didn't make for any deeper and fun play. It was pretty tedious regardless of whether you play in the India region.

The game is getting to a point where the interface is getting too bloated and obtuse. Starting to wonder whether Paradox would be better off moving onto the next version. The feeling I have is last few expansion and immersion packs are too tacked on and make the game less fun.

In short; wait for a better sale :)

dharma is okay. rule britannia in comparison is worth nothing. missions are so pointless
Aelfric Dec 11, 2018 @ 4:37pm
if you want to colonise (because dharma helps trade companies) i recommend 1457 start date because ottos have tech 3 and west europe have tech 4 and england and portugal look more like someone is going to pick up exploration and they already start with renaissance which otherwise really hurts 1444 portugal and castile

by the way trade company buildings are shown in the state screen not the trade node interface

Aren't trade companies available in base game? I've been able to use it and I don't have Dharma yet.

Yes as a button on the provinces, but the DLC let's you add buildings to that which don't cost building slots.

Maybe you have the Wealth of Nations DLC which also unlocks Trade Companies? Dharma adds also Trade Company Investments to boost them.
